Final Forms
Tuslaw is very excited to be transitioning to Final Forms for the 2024-2025 school year. Final Forms will allow parents/guardians to complete emergency medical, academic and athletic forms online for their students while saving parents/guardians time. At least one parent/guardian of our current students grades K-12 should be receiving a confirmation email from Final Forms on May 29, 2024. Please be on the lookout for an email from Final Forms to confirm your account.

Summer Fun School
For the second year. Tuslaw Local is excited to offer a FREE Summer Fun (STEM) School program for students in grades K - 2 through a partnership with the Stark County Library. For more information please click the link below.
Summer EBT Program
All Free or Reduced-price meal certified students in the Tuslaw Local School District automatically qualify for the Summer EBT program. This is a new federal permanent program (also known as SUN Bucks) that provides cash grocery benefits to children in qualifying households. Each eligible child will receive a one-time $120 benefit for the summer. If you do not currently benefit from Free or Reduced-price school meals and believe that you may qualify for them and the Summer EBT program, please contact Diane Koons, Food Service Supervisor at 330-837-7814 or by email at dkoons@tuslawschools.org to request the Free & Reduced-price School Meals Application. This application may be completed at any time during the school year, and it must be completed to see if your child(ren) qualify for the Summer EBT program. You do NOT need to complete another application if your child(ren) are already receiving Free or Reduced-price school meals. For more information please click the link below.
2024-2025 Kindergarten Sign-Up Survey
Welcome, Mustangs! Children who will be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2024, are able to attend kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year. We are asking families to complete this brief survey so that we can send details about kindergarten registration and screening appointments. Please try to have this survey completed prior to May 1, 2024. We are excited to get to know you and your child!

Elementary Substitute Teachers Needed
There currently is a shortage of substitute teachers across Stark County. Tuslaw would like to add substitute teachers at Tuslaw Elementary. The pay rate for these subs will be $100 a day. Having a bachelor’s degree is one of the major requirements. Purple Star Designation
We are pleased to announce that the Ohio Department of Education has selected the Tuslaw Local School District as a Purple Star School District. The Purple Star designation recognizes districts that meet important criteria for serving military-connected students and families.
