Tuslaw Transition from Remind App to ParentSquare
Please click the link below for information regarding Tuslaw's transition from using the Remind App to the ParentSquare App. We will have test groups starting now and full implementation starting August 2026. Parents can start downloading the ParentSquare App for their mobile phones and students grade 7-12 involved in extra-curricular activities can download the StudentSquare App.

Open Enrollment
We are no longer accepting applications for grades K through 8, those grades are closed for the 25-26 school year.
For grades that are still open the applications and proof of residency can be dropped off at any school building, or the District Office door #3 during the summer. A copy of IEP or 504Plans need to be submitted at the same time application is dropped off.
Open Enrollment Applications for consideration are accepted in person on the first school day in April for the following school year (2026-27). They are date and time stamped, that is the order in which they are reviewed. Tuslaw High School and Middle School open at 7:00am and applications can be brought in starting then. One application per child and one proof of residency must be submitted at that time. If a child has an IEP or 504Plan a copy must be submitted with the application.
Applications will be acted upon by the end of May for grades 1-12. Kindergarten will not be decided until the first week in August, we do recommend registering your child in the district in which you live. Decisions for accepting students are based on our enrollment numbers for students that live in our district.
The Open Enrollment Application for 26-27 will be posted mid-March 2026.
Elementary Substitute Teachers Needed
There currently is a shortage of substitute teachers across Stark County. Tuslaw would like to add substitute teachers at Tuslaw Elementary. The pay rate for these subs will be $100 a day. Having a bachelor’s degree is one of the major requirements. Purple Star Designation
We are pleased to announce that the Ohio Department of Education has selected the Tuslaw Local School District as a Purple Star School District. The Purple Star designation recognizes districts that meet important criteria for serving military-connected students and families.
