Last Day of School-May 26, 2023

For informational and planning purposes. 

Friday, May 26, 2023 

Tuslaw Schools will be dismissed as follows: 

Tuslaw High School/Tuslaw Middle School 11:00 a.m. 

Tuslaw Elementary School 11:45 a.m. 

Buses will be transporting students home at the  respective times. 

Kindergarten Screening /Registration

Tuslaw parents with children who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2023, are encouraged to register their children for Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year. Please complete the Kindergarten Survey below and the school will contact you to schedule a screening appointment and provide you with instructions for completing the necessary registration and transportations forms. Please complete the survey below prior to May 1, 2023.

Again after the survey is completed the school will contact you to schedule Kindergarten screening appointments which will take place at Tuslaw Elementary School on May 11 and May 12. 

Summer Fun School

Tuslaw Local is excited to be offering a FREE summer stem program for students in grades K - 2 through a partnership with the Stark County Library.

9:00-11:00 AM

Grades 2-5 in Middle School, Cost: $60

Grades 6-9 in High School, Cost: $75

Tuslaw Local Schools- Safe Return to In-Person Instruction, Continuity of Service Plans and Learning Recovery and Extended Learning Plan

The Tuslaw Local School District has been providing face-to-face instruction, five days a week, to our students during the 2020-2021 academic year. We have maintained our standard level of rigor and relevance as in previous years. We consistently assess our students and make data-driven decisions based on these assessments. If a student needs additional support we provide that for them – this year has been no exception.
