Veteran's Day Assembly

Every year for Veterans Day our district holds a Veterans Day Assembly.  Students in our Middle School eighth-grade American History classes send thank you letters to local veterans and invite local veterans to attend our Veterans Day assembly. High school students coordinate the event and speeches and the high school choir sings military related songs.  Students who plan to enter the military speak about their choice to serve our country.  A guest speaker who is a military veteran delivers a keynote speech to all the students, staff and veterans in attendance.  Each branch of the military service is honored and the veterans stand to be recognized.  Veterans can also meet with the students who sent them their letter.  Please enjoy our videos from previous years.
