District Profile

The Tuslaw Local School District is an Ohio public school district that consists of three school buildings. Tuslaw Elementary school serves students grades K-4, Tuslaw Middle school serves students grades 5-8, and Tuslaw High School serves students grades 9-12. Our total enrollment is approximately 1,500 students. The Tuslaw Local School District is a member of the Stark County Education Service Center and our 11th and 12th grade students also have the ability to attend the R.G. Drage Career Technical Center in Massillon, Ohio.

The district is located on the west side of the city of Massillon, which is on the west side of Stark County. The district's name "Tuslaw" comes from Tuscarawas Township and Lawrence Township which are the two townships the district primarily serves.

Tuslaw's mascot is the Mustang, and Tuslaw's colors are blue, white with red trim.
